Making a movie clip

Don’t remind me please. My group spent 2 days (and night) to complete a project that required us to design a website with Dreamweaver in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Dreamweaver isn’t that difficult, but Flash Player is a bother! I can never seem to get the clips right; either the timing screws up or my movie doesn’t show up! There are actually many ways to make a movie clip! I’ve tried using iMovie on Mac to edit the video that I filmed and I think it’s much easier as compared to Flash Player! iMovie allows easy loading on Youtube and many other websites as well! But of course, we have to film a video with a camcorder first (DUH!), before editing, cutting and putting the edits all together! It’s pretty fun, really!

Gosh,

I’m tired, gonna hit the sack,

Good night!

E-learning

In my opinion, E-learning and Virtual Education is educating students using advanced technologies such as the internet, through video conferencing and multimedia tools like Window Media Player or Real Player and so on. I have been exposed to E-learning back then in 2005, when I was studying in Ngee Ann Polytechnic, whereby I had what we are having now in UB; the ublearns webpage where we can access lectures notes and readings on the E-learning site.

But, I’ve also been hearing about Virtual Universities whereby everything is communicated and taught via the internet from the teachers to the students, but honestly I don’t know if they really do exist.

However, if they do exist, I don’t really think they will work out well! As a communication student, I’ve learnt that communication is not just plain talking, communication is everything; verbal, non-verbal, written, signals, signs, and so on! I would suggest that Virtual Education exist to complement the traditional classroom education to make education more interesting and helpful.
